Getting to Riga from Riga's Airport (RIX):

  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take bus No. 22 (operating from 5:25 a.m. to 12:40 a.m.). Purchase a one-way ticket from the bus driver for €2 (card only). Alternatively, get a 90-minute time ticket for €1.50 at the 'Narvesen' kiosk at the airport. Check the schedule and more information on Riga public transport here.

  • TAXI: Available 24/7 at approximately €20-€25. Note that taxi rates from the airport to Riga city center are often overpriced; we recommend using alternative transportation.

  • SHARING CAR: Consider sharing a car for a cost-effective and eco-friendly option.

  • USING APP: There are several apps available in Latvia - the most popular is Bolt app in which you can both order a taxi or easily rent a car. Other car rental apps are CityBee, Carguru, Fiqsy and Oxdrive.
