Getting to Riga from Riga's Airport (RIX):

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take bus No. 22 (operating from 5:25 a.m. to 12:40 a.m.). Purchase a one-way ticket from the bus driver for €2 (card only). Alternatively, get a 90-minute time ticket for €1.50 at the 'Narvesen' kiosk at the airport. Check the schedule and more information on Riga public transport here.

TAXI: Available 24/7 at approximately €20-€25. Note that taxi rates from the airport to Riga city center are often overpriced; we recommend using alternative transportation.

SHARING CAR: Consider sharing a car for a cost-effective and eco-friendly option.

USING APP: There are several apps available in Latvia - the most popular is Bolt app in which you can both order a taxi or easily rent a car. Other car rental apps are CityBee, Carguru, Fiqsy and Oxdrive.
From Riga to Sigulda:

TRAIN: Visit vivi.lv/en/ for train schedules. Train tickets can be bought at the station, on the train (at a slightly higher cost), or through a mobile application. The fare from Rīga to Sigulda is €1.89.

BUS: Check 1188.lv/en for bus options. Bus tickets can be purchased at the station or directly from the bus driver. The approximate ticket price is between €2.60 and €3.20

CAR or BICYCLE: Enjoy the scenic route or, if you have plenty of time, explore Sigulda by walking.
